As the Brady Bunch sang, it's a Sunshine Day,
so I moved the kids outside from 7am to 11:00am
( the hours the sun shines on my deck)
"Big Boy", "Angus" & "Cash"
Tomatoes are coming along nicely.
And the three of them are closing in on 5 feet tall.
With flowers blooming on each.
"Lucille" is getting to a height that she will need extra braces.
She's looking good in her sting bikini though. HA!
See, told you she was getting tall.
And she sporting beautiful flowers in her hair.
"Ethel" has gotten weepy this morning, because I gave her a
time out on how tall she's going to get by winding
her "vine style" around the top of her brace.
She was always a twisted one, so...
Fear not, after a few hours in the sun, she started perking back up.
"Fight Club" is just a wild bunch.
And now standing 4 feet tall.
So, ya, I started twisting them too.
Side note: By twisting them "vine style" into the cage,
they held up stronger in winds.
What's up "Shorty!"
For being the smallest of the crew
—not counting "The Island of Misfit Tomatoes"—
Shorty has actually been bushing out the best.
What can you say, the littlest one always feels the need to over perform.

Thanks to wind damage, again, this group has totally become twisted.
I left this group outside for the entire day, watching every now
and then to make sure they were ok. Turns out the new twisting
has REALLY made them strong. The wind tried to push them around, but nope.
And even the Parsley from Green Day ( not the band )
has been on a continual growth.
So here's the crew on Day 98. All 16 are surviving and getting bigger.
Every now and then though, I do wonder why I don't just buy a pint of tomatoes.
Probably best I don't have children.
